About this Project:

Strange Encounter is an artistic data visualisation which explores the notion of ecological awareness in the Post-Anthropocene Epoch. The visualisations depict information collected from a series of propagating Syngonium Podophyllum plants as lens to discover and reveal the peculiar behaviour of nature. By conveying the Syngonium plant in a strange and unconventional way, the work attempts to re-imagine the environment and disturb our complacency within the world.
