About this Project:
An evocative audio-visual artwork comprised of a musical synthesiser instrument that creates visual artwork when played. It explores the perceived metaphysical divide between the self and the present moment, which I argue is continually redrawn by modern technology. It is grounded in the phenomenology of embodiment. Whilst interaction with the artefact represents a channelling of the present moment. The aim of the work is to allow the user to experience ‘flow’ or ‘Sati’ (mindfulness), to be at one with the now, which, in turn, will allow the user to experience a state of awe.
