Data Strings
Project Type:
Interactive

About this Project:
A participatory installation that raises awareness about CPR (Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation) through the experimentation of a unique data collection method. Users participate by answering a series of questions related to their knowledge of CPR practise. The questions are answered by the user drawing a string across the installation from pin to pin. As more users participate, the strings build up and a live data map is created. Often, we see researchers visualising data once it has been collected. Data Strings however, experiments with visualising the data collection process itself.
