About this Project:

Compackt is an open source tool for simple entry level website creation. Somewhere between a JavaScript framework and a website builder, Compackt encourages people to begin exploring hands on web development and develop an understanding of the technology they use daily. I wanted to encourage people to explore web development as a creative outlet, even those with little to no experience. As an open source project, Compackt provides an easy to use resource for beginners and allows them to explore its inner workings as they grow into experts. Computers are an area of ‘unexplained magic’ for many people. Through Compackt I aim to empower people to create with technology.
